Trend Report - Neutrals

These days being neutral has never been more chic and this summer going nude may even land you on a slew of best dressed lists. Beige, tan, and nude have become a massive fashion staple over the last few months and I'm personally a major fan. The contrast from summer's other major trend, color blocking, is a welcomed breath of fresh air. Every fash loving celebrity has been seen rocking the trend from tan dresses to beige maxi skirts to khaki shorts and taupe blazers. When pulling for neutrals remember brown, gold, black, white and now even other neutrals lend for the perfect combination. More then ever people are pairing their neutral pieces together, like I am above. Some industry insiders solely credit UK sweetheart, Kate Middleton, for making tan the color of the year. Her recent meeting with the Obama's sparked a fash fight over her beige Reiss dress, so much so that the dress sold out in minutes all over the world. Luckily for us the dress will be available again this Fall for the rest of the world to snatch up. If you want to incorporate this trend into your wardrobe try pairing a khaki blazer with an edgy leopard dress or a beige lace skirt with a loose tan silk top for a nice contrast of colors and textures.
